Since we started CloudSigma, we have directed much of our business efforts toward innovation. This has not only allowed us to be a visionary in the IaaS industry, but attract customers that are equally as dedicated to innovation, and thus, need a cloud provider that can meet their unique workload demands. We enjoy working with customers like this because they not only push us to adapt quicker, but reinforce our position as a market leader. Web-based social collaboration company, Tracky, is one such customer.
Tracky’s decision to implement our public cloud IaaS platform, as opposed to other more restrictive providers, has not only been an important validation of our mission to innovate, but recently helped us win TMC’s third annual 2013 Cloud Computing Excellence Award.
Remote working has revolutionized today’s modern businesses and tools that enhance this growing trend have become invaluable. As such, adoption of Tracky’s social collaboration software, which lets people organize all of their to-dos, work projects and social connections in one place, was growing at an exponential rate. Tracky needed a cloud provider that could seamlessly accommodate growth and high-performance computing, leading them to CloudSigma. CloudSigma’s public cloud IaaS platform not only allowed Tracky to implement the exact applications and operating system it preferred, essentially allowing it to mirror it’s physical environment, but it also left Tracky in complete control of its deployment.
What’s more, with CloudSigma’s unbundled resources that eliminated costly over- and under-provisioning, combined with its pay-as-you-go model and 5-minute billing increments, Tracky was able to decrease its costs by a whopping 350 percent when compared with its previous cloud provider. This, combined with the unprecedented speed and performance improvements Tracky saw (which increased by a factor of five!), makes our work with the company one of CloudSigma’s most powerful use cases. And, by submitting it for consideration in TMC’s 2013 Cloud Computing Excellence Award, we were able to secure a spot as a winner of this prestigious award.
We continue to be thankful for our forward-thinking customers. Without them, it’s hard to imagine where we would be! Also be sure to check out Tracky if you are looking for a social collaboration and publishing platform that powers collaborative visual websites for communities.
